Our story

Started behind a café counter.

ReGrounds began with a simple observation and the belief that a small idea could create real impact for an entire community.

As a high school student working at a dessert café here in Frisco, I saw bag after bag of used coffee grounds thrown into the trash every single shift—heavy, still warm, and entirely usable. At the same time, I noticed my neighbors paying for garden fertilizers and scrubs made from those exact same grounds.

It didn’t make sense. So, I created ReGrounds: a simple platform connecting local cafés with neighbors who can put those grounds to good use. No fees, no middleman, just a smarter, more sustainable loop for our town.

Frisco is our starting point. If we can make it work here, we can make it work anywhere coffee is loved and landfills are overflowing. That’s our mission.
